    Our client is a prominent Global leader in the hospitality industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences with over 1,000 subsidiaries and affiliated brands. With a commitment to innovation and personalized service, they are seeking a AWS focused Senior Data Engineer to join their team immediately.

    This is a full-time Contract position that offers a fully remote schedule.

    As a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to the development of their Enterprise Data Platform. Being an integral part of the Data Platform Architecture team, your efforts will be focused on designing and implementing new analytical solutions to serve their internal customers. Your task will involve fostering innovation by developing solutions that propel the company forward. Based on your analysis of the existing infrastructure and your expertise in various resources, including on-premises, Cloud-based, and hybrid systems, you will suggest tools and capabilities to enhance their data platform.

    Position Responsibilities (This is Architect/Developer role with hands on experience using below technologies)

    • Integrate data through channels using API and Kafka streams.
    • Proficient in utilizing API and Kafka.
    • Fluent in technologies such as Informatica IICS and Snowflake.
    • Possess strong Python programming skills.
    • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and an excellent team player.

    Experience

    • 6+ years in application or platform engineering, or in technical roles involving business intelligence and analytics.
    • At least four years of advanced experience in AWS cloud data engineering, including management, maintenance, and the implementation of best practices and industry standards.
    • Proficiency in data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or comparable technologies.
    • Fluent in Informatica IICS
    • Extensive expertise in AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Kinesis, Data Pipelines, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.
    • Strong scripting using Python and/or Powershell.
    • Experience with database technologies, includingSQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
    • Skilled in CI/CD methodologies, using tools and scripting for automation, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, Cloud Formation, and Terraform.
    • Knowledge in PaaS and SaaS application performance
    • Knowledge in IAM Roles and Policies
