    Position Overview

    We are excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to our expanding practice. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our providers in medical and procedural dermatology.     Key Responsibilities

    • Scribe in real-time during patient visits, ensuring precise documentation of histories, exams, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR.
    • Room patients efficiently, checking vital signs, and updating their medical histories.
    • Prepare examination rooms and patients for procedures with attention to detail.
    • Assist providers during medical and surgical dermatology procedures, such as biopsies and excisions.
    • Uphold sterile technique while setting up and breaking down instruments.
    • Clean, sterilize, and appropriately store instruments according to established protocols.
    • Administer medications and injections as instructed by providers.
    • Provide patients with educational materials and post-procedure instructions.
    • Manage prior authorizations, medication refills, and follow-up tasks efficiently.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
    • Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and outstanding care.

    Required Qualifications

    • Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • Dermatology experience is highly desirable, though we are willing to train the right candidate.
    • Experience with medical scribing and using electronic health records.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Professional and compassionate bedside manner.
    • Able to work effectively in a dynamic clinical setting.
