- Analyze, review and draft contracts (construction contracts, subcontracts, and other miscellaneous agreements)
- Lead negotiation efforts to achieve contract terms consistent with Clark's corporate standards
- Provide legal guidance to corporate leadership on various business and industry related matters
- Work with the Department Leadership to provide legal support to Clark and its subsidiaries
- Prepare and facilitate corporate matters including preparing resolutions and minutes of directors' and shareholders' meetings, and other miscellaneous corporate documents
- Participate in dispute avoidance/resolution strategy sessions with departmental and company leadership
- In conjunction with outside counsel, coordinate responses to pleadings, discovery, and demands
- Provide training to the organization on a variety of legal topics
- Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win the right work
- Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team. Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people
- Exceed our stakeholders' expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals
- Juris Doctorate degree from a top accredited law school·
- Active bar membership
- Approximately - 4 years of law firm or clerkship experience
- Construction experience is a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
