- You will oversee facility operations of Patient Access functions (e.g. pre-registration, benefit verification, pre-authorization, admission/registration, service pre-payment, etc.) to ensure daily operations are maintained according to standard
- You will coordinate with facility departments/administration teams to manage key revenue cycle performance expectations and challenges including: upfront collections protocols, capturing accurate information, timely registration and patient satisfaction, denial prevention, patient flow, unbilled, patient concerns.
- You will review Patient Access performance to ensure timeliness, accuracy, compliance and standards fulfillment as defined in Service Level Agreements
- You will oversee management of Patient Access personnel including providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustments and ensure staff is aware of any policy or procedure changes.
- You will actively seek ways to control costs and improve processes without compromising patient safety, quality of care of the services delivered.

- A Bachelors degree preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Director of Financial Services and Patient Access, you will be responsible for the daily operations of all Parallon managed facility-based revenue cycle functions and serve as the on-site liaison between the facility and Parallon Client Relations or the SSC. You will integrate the departments services with the hospitals clinical and ancillary teams, implement policies and procedures that guide or support service levels, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff.

Our services include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, hospital billing, revenue integrity, collections, payment compliance, credentialing, health information management, customer service, payroll and physician billing. We also provide full-service revenue cycle management as well as targeted solutions, such as Medicaid Eligibility, for external clients across the country.
