    The Shift Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation of the restaurant and leads a team of crew members to ensure exceptional customer service, high standards of food quality / cleanliness, and achieving operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities of the Shift Manager:

    -Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of crew members during assigned shifts, ensuring a positive work environment and adherence to company policies and procedures.

    -Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, assembly, and service, to ensure efficiency and consistency.

    -Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.

    -Training and Development: Train new crew members on company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to support their growth and development.

    -Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.

    -Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards at all times.

    -Financial Accountability: Assist in managing labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses to meet budget targets and maximize profitability.

    -Shift Scheduling: Create and manage shift schedules, ensuring proper coverage and optimal staffing levels to meet business needs.

    -Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during shifts, such as equipment malfunctions, customer complaints, or staffing shortages, in a timely and effective manner.

    -Promotion of Brand Standards: Uphold McDonald's brand standards and image by ensuring consistent product quality, service, and cleanliness.

    Requirements of the Assistant Manager:

    -Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the food service industry.

    -Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    -Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

    -High school diploma/GED is required.
