- J.D. from accredited law school; member in good standing of a U.S. bar. Ability to obtain the Corporate Counsel Certificate to practice in Virginia.
- Five plus years law firm and/or in-house litigation experience handling complex matters, preferably IP, particularly litigation involving patent trolls and IP infringement. Experience with labor and employment litigation a plus.
- Experience with corporate governance matters a plus.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently on multiple tasks.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise fashion.
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment who is comfortable making decisions.

Description
Firm Advice is conducting a search for a litigator to join the Northern VA HQ of a significant high-tech company. You will work with internal stakeholders and oversee outside counsel to ensure cases make appropriate progress through discovery, trial, and settlement negotiations. You will also assist with corporate governance matters, ensuring registrations and insurance renewals are current.
This position requires an inquisitive, self-confident self-starter who can lead the in-house litigation role and take on a wide range of responsibilities.
Position is hybrid with approximately 2 days per month in the Northern Virginia office.
