Assistant / Associate Professor of Business Intelligence & Analytics (Tenure Track) - Omaha, United States - Creighton University
Description
The Heider College of Business at Creighton University invites applications and nominations for a tenure track associate professor of analytics position beginning in fall 2024.
Qualified candidates should have an earned doctorate in Information Systems/Analytics or a closely related field. The candidate must demonstrate evidence of quality teaching and research.Candidates should ideally have a research, teaching, and service record that supports appointment at the Associate Professor of Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) rank.
Candidates whose background supports appointment at the Assistant Professor rank will also be considered.
Teaching load, which is likely to include a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses, is five classes per academic year.
The candidate will be expected to provide academic advising for students, as well as service to the College, University, and community.
Creighton University is a private Jesuit, Catholic coeducational urban university that encourages applications from qualified individuals of all backgrounds who believe they can contribute to the distinctive educational traditions of the university.
The Heider College of Business is accredited by the AACSB with an enrollment of approximately 1100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students.
Approximately 65 full-time faculty members, complemented by adjunct professors, serve our students. Degrees awarded include the BSBA, Masters in Business Analytics, and several other specialized masters degrees and certifications.BIA is part of a 21-person combined Accounting and BIA department. The ACC/BIA Department is accredited, along with the rest of the Heider College, by the AACSB. The BIA group has eight tenure-track positions, one endowed chair, and three full-time instructor positions.
