Job Description:
We're seeking a detail-oriented, artistic, and energetic individual to join our team as an Ice Cream Cake Decorator. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, has a creative eye for design, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Decorate and design ice cream cakes according to company standards and customer requests
- Personalize cakes with writing, themes, and custom decorations
- Prepare and handle cake ingredients (ice cream, frosting, toppings, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety guidelines
- Manage special orders and ensure timely completion
- Provide excellent customer service when assisting with orders and design requests
- Support general shop duties as needed (stocking, cleaning, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Previous cake decorating or baking experience required
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer area)
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
