Position Summary:
Life Assets Development is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager with the execution and oversight of ongoing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage project files, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track project progress and performance.
- Support the Project Manager in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Adobe PDF Reader and construction project management software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
-Bi Lingual ( English -Spanish ) Preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as project demands require.
