    The Practice Manager at Albany ENT & Allergy Services, P.C. is responsible for overseeing clinical areas and overall operational success in the organization's quality, productivity, and financial goals. This individual is a patient and provider centric leader, focusing on enhancing the patient and clinician experience. This position will participate in strategic planning and will develop implementation plans.

    The Practice Manager will ensure an optimal work environment for physicians and staff, ensuring that appropriate processes, facilities, equipment, and other required resources are available to support service delivery goals in the most cost-effective manner.

    This position will participate in relevant implementations and operational improvements for services and will maintain a clear understanding of the organization and intersection of the clinical practice with the business of medicine.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    :

    Serves as the primary liaison between physician leadership, practice operations, and outside professionals.

    Works with physician executive leadership to define standards of excellence and quality for all services; ensures standards are met at reasonable cost.

    Evaluates impact of major operational decisions with leadership.
    Participates in strategic planning for Practice and facilitates growth plan.
    Provides direct supervision of front office managers.

    Ensures all areas are functioning at their highest level of efficiency relating to patient and provider satisfaction, employee engagement, and financially prudent decision-making.

    Evaluates workflow, employee input, and data reports to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and improvement. Acts on significant trends and implements solutions.
    Utilizes data analytics to support decision making and impact of suggested changes.
    Works with and advises department heads within the Practice. Encourages cross-functional collaboration to address operational issues. Assists with implementing and communicating solutions, policies, processes, and procedures.

    Collaborates with Finance in the preparation of cost-benefit analyses in the development and evaluation of operational strategies, plans, and objectives.

    Embraces lean principles to implement new initiatives and solutions.
    Oversees response to complaints with immediate investigation and resolution. Develops and implements plans to prevent similar complaints in the future.
    Manages expansion and renovation projects as directed by leadership.
    Collaborates with HR on talent management, staffing, performance management, and employee relations.
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    7+ years of multi-site outpatient practice management experience. Experience with private practice surgical specialties preferred.
    3+ years relevant project management experience, proven track record with large-scale change management. Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of projects.
    Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems, as well as recommend and implement effective solutions.
    Experience with healthcare budgeting and Microsoft Excel preferred. Must possess general knowledge on how to read and evaluate reports and work
    Effectively work with staff at all levels, able to facilitate collaboration at the employee, team, and organization level.
    Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to compose and critique proper business communications and other materials.
    Highly proficient in a variety of software and EMR.
    Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
    Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to patients; develop relationships both internally and externally.


    COMPENSATION:

    The compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
