    Key Responsibilities

    The Equipment Operator will safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, to transport earthen material and process equipment components.

    • Safely operate heavy equipment
    • Perform pre-trip inspections and maintenance tasks
    • Provide guidance and spotting services for trucks
    • Maintain clean process operations and ensure equipment cleanliness
    • Filling in for operations and/or maintenance staff as needed
    • Participate in safety and operational meetings
    • Adhere to company and governmental safety regulations
    • Perform other reasonably related tasks and duties assigned by supervisor/management

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • 3+ years of experience operating a front-end loader
    • Experience operating heavy equipment, such as haul trucks, water trucks, telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers, and excavators (a plus)
    • Mechanical aptitude or ability (a plus)
    • Strong communication skills and ability to understand and write in English
    • Physical ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb onto equipment, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
    • Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures and a busy, distracting work environment
    • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company
    • Capability to work overtime and various shifts, including weekends
    • Good work ethic and self-motivation
