    Description

    Top Motorcoach company in Austin, TX is seeking a Diesel Mechanic that will work closely with the lead Diesel Mechanic working on buses.

    The ideal candidate has 2 years of Diesel experience.

    The company is looking to pay up to $29/hr - $36/hour + Bonus with Excellent benefits and perks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to keep transportation vehicles in optimal condition.
    • Diagnostic and Repair Work: Identify mechanical issues through diagnostic tools, visual inspections, and test drives. Conduct necessary repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
    • Electrical System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electronic components, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
    • Engine and Powertrain Service: Conduct maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
    • Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of transportation vehicles to identify any potential safety hazards or regulatory compliance issues. Address any issues promptly to maintain safety standards.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts inventory, service schedules, and vehicle histories, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate future maintenance.
    • Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and transportation operators to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement solutions effectively.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in transportation vehicle maintenance. Implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
