    This is a hybrid role of 3 days per week onsite. You must be able to be onsite in the NYC office. Candidates must already be located in this city, we will not consider relocation or reimburse for relocation.

    This role is open to Recent Graduates and those enrolled in a Graduate Program only.

    · Duration: June 10th – September 6th, Potential for Extension after initial duration

    · Hours: Monday to Friday – Must be able to commit to full 40 hours per week

    · Compensation: $18/hr

    Edelman is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Product Research Intern to join our product management team. This position is perfect for students or recent graduates passionate about product research and eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic PR environment. As a Product Research Intern, you will play a key role in shaping the development of our communication products by conducting market analysis, user research, and competitive benchmarking. You'll work closely with senior product managers, UX designers, and the broader product team to uncover insights that drive product innovation and strategy.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and understand the competitive landscape relevant to PR and communications products.
  • Support user research efforts by helping to organize surveys, interviews, and usability tests to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Analyze research data to extract actionable insights, contributing to the development of product strategies and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the product management and UX teams to translate insights into product features and improvements.
  • Help prepare reports and presentations that communicate research findings to stakeholders across the company.
  • Participate in agile scrum meetings and contribute to the product backlog prioritization with a research-informed perspective.Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A keen interest in product development, user experience, and market research.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in research, data analysis, or product development is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and an understanding of the product development lifecycle would be advantageous.$18 - $18 an hourAn employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
