    We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our OB Clinic This is a PRN position, working 1-2 shifts per week, or as needed.

    Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our OB Clinic This is a PRN, day shift position, working 1-2 shifts per week, or as needed.

    ResponsibilitiesPresents examination education to the patient prior to exam, gives post procedure instructions pertinent to the exam performedConsistently obtains all Ultrasound exam informationPerforms mobile Ultrasound as necessaryPerforms Ultrasound independently, consults the Radiologist as necessaryPerforms Ultrasound Interventional procedures utilizing sterile techniqueMaintains equipment, cleans and disinfects probes after each patientAssists the physicians with biopsies, drainage, etcMaintains Ultrasound patient log book and collects data as necessary for statisticsConsistently labels body parts, correctlyOther duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's Applied Science in Sonography, or related field requiredRegistration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) requiredRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferredAmerican Heart Association (AHA) approved course in Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hireMinimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care hospital setting with demonstrated knowledge of technical, diagnostic, and emergency procedures related to Imaging/RadiologyMust be willing to be on-call during after-hours, weekends and holidays, as necessaryWhat We Offer Competitive Pay + Shift DifferentialsMatching 401(k)Opportunities for career advancementRewards and recognition programsAdditional perks and discountsAt Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, we foster a culture of compassion, excellence, and community.
