Role Summary
The Graphic Designer and Photo Editor supports KHOI's visual identity by producing and refining creative assets across e-commerce, marketing, and digital platforms. This role blends strong design execution with hands-on photo editing to ensure all brand visuals are polished, consistent, and aligned with KHOI's aesthetic.
This position is highly execution-focused and plays a critical role in maintaining visual cohesion across product launches, campaigns, email, web, and social channels as the brand continues to scale.
Portfolio quality and demonstrated execution are essential for success in this role.
Reporting Structure
This role reports to Marketing Lead and Creative Director.
Core Responsibilities
Graphic Design Execution
- Design creative assets for marketing campaigns, product launches, email, and digital channels.
- Support brand storytelling through layout, typography, color, and composition aligned with KHOI's visual standards.
- Produce assets for e-commerce, including banners, promotional graphics, and digital content.
- Collaborate on creative concepts and translate direction into clear, on-brand execution.
Photo Editing and Retouching
- Edit and retouch product and lifestyle photography to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment.
- Prepare images for use across e-commerce, email, and marketing platforms.
- Maintain consistent lighting, color correction, and visual treatment across image sets.
- Support the organization and preparation of final assets for downstream use.
Creative Collaboration and Workflow
- Partner closely with photographers, marketing, and creative leadership to support campaigns and launches.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining creative standards and timelines.
- Support evolving brand guidelines and visual systems as the company grows.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining creative files and shared asset libraries.
Required Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and photo editing work.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to execute clean, on-brand designs across multiple formats and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
- Ability to work on-site in Chicago.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with retouching models and products.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing assets.
- Experience collaborating with photographers and marketing teams.
- Basic understanding of photography workflows and production processes.
