    Description
    Provides senior level administrative support to a single executive, physician or team. Performs advanced administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, reports and memos, responding to and screening telephone calls. Requires working knowledge of institution policies, practices and procedures. Collects, compiles and analyzes complex information of a highly confidential nature. Performs special projects of a highly skilled nature. Exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment; and other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or combination of education and experience
    • Two years of administrative /program coordinator experience
    • LMSW licensure is desired, but not required
    • Accurate typing and data entry skills
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Working knowledge of software used by department

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Works directly with investigators, research assistant, and research nurse to manage and monitor recruitment, enrollment, and participation withing the research project.
    • Assists with creating patient recruitment materials, manages incentive distribution, and manages study database, including extraction of data from EMR and data entry into the database.
    • Coordinates activities and functions of a designated program to ensure the goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
    • Performs administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, reports and memos. Provides support to staff and has the ability to handle a number of activities effectively.
    • Manages multiple assigned projects and priorities and initiates follow up to ensure timely achievement of assignments.
    • Develops, compiles and writes research program communications. May draft and sign routine correspondence and replies to inquiries which do not require technical program knowledge if directed by supervisor.
    • Develops, implements, and maintains paper and electronic filing systems which meet department needs and satisfy requirements for retention and information security. Enters, updates, and retrieves information as needed. Independently creates reports as needed.
