Job Description

The Process Engineer will report to the Plant Manager and is responsible for assisting in the production of cost-effective, high-quality Fiber Cement siding through technological and procedural process development and implementation.

Responsibilities include:

• Assists in the review of process performance and related quality issues involving raw materials, equipment, and procedures.
• Identify and solve production related problems and implement changes to manufacturing processes using various troubleshooting methodologies, root cause analysis, event review and operations meetings.
• Monitors current processes and communicates anomalies with manufacturing process parameters.
• Resolve system failures, maintain system equipment, and perform minor repairs on computer-related and process control equipment.
• Design, specify and coordinate new equipment procurement and installation as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience will be considered.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experienced with lean manufacturing, cost reduction, statistical process control and optimization techniques.
