- Support Air Force and other DoD RDT&E efforts conducted at the AFRL research facilities.
- Evaluate, prepare, and execute RDT&E tests and experiments.
- Process and evaluate the experimental data collected from RDT&E tests and experiments.
- Create and maintain technical documents. (i.e. Test plans, test reports and presentation.)
- Design and develop electronic circuits needed to support the RDT&E efforts. (i.e. RF, Digital, and Analog circuits, Embedded systems, and microcontrollers)
- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of the test equipment.
- Design and develop both application and system software needed to support the RDT&E efforts. Languages include C/C++, Java, Python, and VHDL.
- Candidates are required to complete all OSHA safety and certification training.
- Soldering skills
- Proficient use of hand and power tools (i.e. Screwdriver, pliers, wire strippers, drill)
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
- Must have basic computer skills using Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Must NOT be afraid of heights. (i.e. Personnel lifts, walk-up towers, ladders)
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.

Description
Conduct high-valued Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities to accomplish Radio Frequency (RF) technical program requirements for operational airframes, aircraft, vehicles, weapon systems and Controlled, Contested Environment (CCE) tests and experiments in response to Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) components.
As an Electronic Engineer, you will provide technical support for the RDT&E activities being conducted at the AFRL research facilities.
