Position Title:
Auditor/Accountant (T emp)

Duration: Temporary, [ days]

Job Description for the Auditor/Accountant :
The Temporary Auditor/Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions within the Non-Profit Organization. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities for the Auditor/Accountant :

Financial Auditing:
Conduct thorough examinations of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and organizational policies.

Identify discrepancies, errors, or fraudulent activities and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Present findings and recommendations to management or relevant stakeholders.

Accounting Functions:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.

Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles.

Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.

Collaboration:
Work closely with Executive Director to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.

Compensation for the Auditor/Accountant:
$22 per hour.

Schedule will start out as Mon - Thu 6a-5p but could change to accommodate the candidate's schedule.
