    Solutionreach is hiring for a Data Engineer in our Business Operations department This role is remote.

    What is a day in the life of a Data Engineer?

    You will establish and monitor data generation and ETL including cloud processes
    Implement methods to improve and automate data collection, while also diagnosing and responding to emergent situations
    Improve and maintain the internal data infrastructure by documenting and defining company data/schema
    Partner with business leaders to create strategic data solutions

    Requirements

    What will I need to thrive in this role?

    1-3 years of data operations, computer science, or related experience
    Expert knowledge of SQL and Python (Pandas and NumPy packages)
    Demonstrated knowledge of or experience in cloud solutions like Azure, GCP or AWS
    1-3 years of Data Warehousing Experience
    A Bachelor of Science degree
    Knowledge of basic Linux commands, to set up Cronjobs and edit shell files
    Team player mentality, ownership, and an awesome sense of humor
    Working knowledge of designing and automating processes
    Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment

    What is the team like?

    You will work on a team with 2 other data engineers.

    We build the data pipeline that transfers data from our business applications into the tables and schemas that are the foundation for company reporting.

    We support business decisions with reliable and quick access to data. We face challenges as a team and provide a positive and productive environment to help overcome those challenges.

    We collaborate closely with other teams within the Business Operations (BizOps) organization. There is a Business Applications (BizApps) team and a Revenue Operations (RevOps) team. BizApps supports the software and applications that supply most of our data, such as Salesforce and Hubspot. The RevOps team analyzes the data we provide in order to prepare meaningful business insights for leadership.

    It is important to maintain a close relationship with both teams as changes made by these teams will impact data and reporting.

    What is the hiring process?

    A phone call with our Manager of Talent
    A 60-minute interview with our Director of Business Operations with a technical test regarding Python and SQL questions
    A 30-minute interview with our VP of Engineering
    A final interview with our CFO
