    Shepherd of the Hills Christian Early Learning Center is a Christian Preschool in Centennial, CO Our job is rewarding, and collaborative and we get to have fun, get our silly on, and along the way meet our goal of teaching and nurturing children in a safe and loving environment..

    We are seeking teachers to work in our growing program. It takes a special kind of person to work with young kids every day. The right candidate will have a heart for children and a collaborative approach to working with other adults on our team. If you are energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children, we would love to talk to you.

    Your responsibilities include:

    Nurturing each child's well being and support their learning.

    Joint responsibility for hygiene practices for children (i.e., washing hands, proper bathroom procedures, diapering, snack, and lunch routines.)

    Joint responsibility for sanitary conditions in the classrooms (i.e., washing tables, toys, chairs, and learning centers.) Help to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Controlled contact with bleach and other sanitizing products

    Assist children with meals and snacks.

    Active and purposeful interaction with children. This position requires the physical ability to engage with children at their level. This includes assuming low postures such as kneeling, squatting, bending, stooping, and sitting on the ground.

    Comfortable with soothing children who may be new to group care. (Comfort children when crying.)

    Regular attendance is essential for this position.

    Team Player – Ability to work well with other adults.

    Able to work with the children in the classroom setting and outdoors on the playground.

    Must be able to lift 35 lbs. This position includes picking up children when required.

    We have need in both our Toddler program and our 2 and 1/2 to 3 and 1/2 year classrooms. Flexibility to work with children in a variety of age groups is desired.

    The following items would be also be a plus:

    · Early Childhood Teacher Credential or currently working toward this credential.

    · Certification in CPR/First Aid

    · Basic computer proficiency and comfortable with app use on a Smartphone.

    Must satisfactorily pass background checks as required by the Colorado Department of Social Services (FBI, CBI, and Trails/Central Registry Criminal Record Review)
