    Job Title:
    FPGA Engineer

    Location: Manassas, VA

    Compensation: $100,000 - $170,000 per year

    Employment Type: Direct Hire, On-Site

    Responsibilities:

    Design, implement, and verify FPGA-based solutions for aerospace applications.

    Develop and debug HDL or VHDL code for FPGA implementation.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for FPGA-based systems.

    Perform system-level integration and testing of FPGA-based systems.

    Conduct performance analysis and optimization of FPGA designs.

    Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in FPGA design and aerospace engineering.

    Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

    Participate in design reviews, meetings, and project discussions.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development.

    Expertise in HDL or VHDL coding for FPGA implementation.

    Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, design methodologies, and synthesis tools.

    Experience with FPGA development tools, such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.

    Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and protocols.

    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

    Experience with DO-254 or other aerospace certification processes.

    Knowledge of high-speed digital design and signal processing.

    Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.

    Prior experience working on aerospace projects or with aerospace clients.
