    Job Description and Duties

    This opportunity is to fill positions in Medical, Dental, and/or Mental Health Units, both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    As a Psychiatric Technician (Safety), you will provide general nursing and behavioral care to patients within correctional health care settings, working closely with the health care team to ensure timely and appropriate care delivery.

    You will be responsible for addressing patient needs, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting efficient resource usage.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Valid Psychiatric Technician license issued by the BVNPTE is required for this role. Applicants close to completing the accredited Psychiatric Technician curriculum will also be considered, provided they obtain the license before appointment.

    • Obtain Medical Clearance
    • Hold a valid License to practice as a Psychiatric Technician
