    Job Summary and Qualifications


    • Stocks OR supplies and/or anesthesia supplies daily.
    • Maintains anesthesia supply inventory.
    • Provides for patient safety while transporting patients within the hospital and surgical services department.
    • Safely assists in the positioning of surgical patients.
    • Provides daily cleaning of the OR.
    • Operates, maintains, and stores all equipment in a knowledgeable, safe and efficient manner.
    • Demonstrates flexibility in unit to perform other tasks that may be assigned.
    • Appropriately handles all trash, regulated medical waste, and soiled linens within the department.
    • Communicates effectively with staff, peers, physicians, director, head nurse, external and internal customers.

    What qualifications you will need:

    Experience:
    Required – High School Graduate.
    Preferred – Nursing Assistant training or six months experience as nursing assistant. Previous experience in an OR or hospital.

    Education:
    Required – High school graduate or GED.

    American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
