    Membership and Marketing Assistant- nonprofit
    In office M-F, DC, near Dupont metro.
    $48-52K/annually

    The Membership and Marketing Assistant is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and engage members while coordinating marketing initiatives to promote the organization's products, services, and events. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and effective communication to drive membership growth and brand awareness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Membership Development:
    Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
    Create compelling membership incentives and benefits to increase value proposition.
    Coordinate membership drives, campaigns, and promotional activities.
    Implement feedback mechanisms to understand member needs and preferences.
    Regularly analyze membership data and metrics to track growth and engagement.

    Marketing Strategy:
    Develop marketing timelines and tactics aligned with organizational goals.
    Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
    Manage online presence through website, social media, and email marketing.
    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

    Event Promotion:
    Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote organization's events and programs.
    Coordinate with event organizers to develop promotional materials and strategies.
    Utilize various channels to drive event attendance and engagement.
    Evaluate event success and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in membership management, marketing, or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing and social media.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and creatively to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $48, $53,000.00 Per Year
