    BACKEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER

    Who We Are:

Central to that was our initial innovation, where we demonstrated an ability to efficiently decouple state from processing in network functionsa task deemed infeasible in high-performance networking systems, but in doing so, we have opened the door for fundamentally changing how networks are built.     Who you are and What You Will Do:

    What gets you out of the bed in the morning is helping organizations build highly available and scalable infrastructure that is simple to use, yet very powerful. As a backend software engineer at Stateless, you will be responsible for the implementation and refinement of the applications that form the orchestration layer used to control our networking systems. This layer is at the heart of the Stateless platform, so youll work closely with the other engineering teams to collect requirements and define interfaces between various components.

    Were a constantly evolving platform and like to take advantage of new technology, so if you are comfortable working across multiple codebases and environments as we make that transition, this position is for you

    To be successful in this role, the more of the following you have experience with, the better:

    • Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs with a focus on how theyre consumed over how theyre written.
    • Ability to work in and debug Typescript
    • Desire experience working with algorithms and other languages such as Go, Kotlin, Java , C/C++, or Rust.
    • Creating database schemas.
    • Working with tools for collecting and reporting data (logs and metrics) such as Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
    • Cloud Architecture and experience working in one or more Cloud environments, and/or any experience building a cloud-based AI application
    • Working with containers (e.g., Docker) and orchestration software like Kubernetes.
    • Git or another distributed version control system.
    • Experience and/or familiarity with Pulumi, EdgeDB, Yarn, Kafka, and Zitadel are a bonus.
