Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, current IR experience, and moderate sedation proficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in the Interventional Radiology (Vascular & Interventional) department of a hospital setting
Unit performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other conditions
Minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and treat diseases across nearly every organ system
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with no block scheduling and a rotating day off
7 call shifts per 4-week period, including weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage
Holiday coverage based on unit need
Weekend call coverage required
Epic Radiant EMR experience preferred
Free parking available on-site
Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures using minimally invasive techniques
Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience with a strong ICU background
Current Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
Moderate sedation experience required
Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred
Critical Care Certification and trauma course completion preferred
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Active licensure documentation and 1 professional reference required for consideration
