    SUMMARY

    This role requires an individual who is professional and who displays the drive, determination, and self-motivation to meet the needs of our Programs operations. Specifically, your mission will be to help guide the team that services and maintains existing accounts while uncovering opportunities for increasing business.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides additional one on one training to new or existing team members.
    • Knowledge expert of our insurance policies and the day-to-day service processes.
    • Takes leadership of department projects such as, but not limited to task distribution, escalation screening, finance reporting and book growth.
    • Account manage our largest PL accounts with the assistance of the PL Stew team
    • Identify areas of improvement and come up with creative solutions
    • Attend in person conventions and be the product expert for the Professional Liability team.
    • Handle call and claim escalations in a reasonable timeframe that leads to positive outcomes.
    • Aid in backdating approval requests from our team to the insurance provider.
    • Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues
    • Process quotations and binders as needed
    • Be responsible for issuance of new business policies, endorsements, reinstatements and taking first reports of claims
    • Investigate and process refunds on overpayments
    • Maintain complete and accurate files and input necessary data on the company's agency management system
    • May also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
    • Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to gather underwriting information as requested.
    • Execute daily job responsibilities, including responding to voice mail, email and client inquiries in a timely manner
    • Maintain service standards as outlined in the procedure manual
    • Maintain confidentiality requirements regarding insurance coverage

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
    • Hold Illinois producer license appropriate to the position or secure within 60 days and meet bonding requirements
    • Superior customer service and problem solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
    • Ability to work in a positive team environment
    • Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB's facility and on some company holidays, overtime when needed

    Department Account Management & Service

    Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

    Required Travel: Up to 25%

    Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
