As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve:

• Executing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
• Assisting in the development and organization of financial statements, reports, and budget preparation, timely and accurately
• Reviewing and analyzing variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Preparing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries
• Balancing and maintaining subsidiary accounts by allocating, posting, verifying, and reconciling accounts receivable and payable
• Assist with operational audits to assess compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Play an important part in the organization's financial management which involves all record reconciliations and reporting to essential parties
• Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support the achievement of business goals

Requirements:

• 4+ years' of experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  
• Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial accounting statements, and business trends.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, adept at effectively engaging with individuals across various levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certifications (such as CMA or CPA) and public accounting experience (Big 4) will be a bonus.
• Adequate experience with accounting software packages, such as NetSuite, and MS Office; Excel, Word, Access, etc.
