    Health and Safety Specialist - Bilingual

    What You Get to Do:

    • Successfully facilitate all day-to-day Health and Safety program elements throughout the organization to ensure safety, compliance and best practices
    • Collaborate with Health and Safety Manager, Operations Leaders and team members to promote the value of safety through training, documentation and on-site interaction
    • Record, track and communicate key reports, data and KPI's to management and use to refine and improve Health and Safety program elements
    • Assist with all permit applications and on-site Quality and Safety audits
    • Create and deliver effective training to new and existing employees based on pro-active approach to ensuring Health and Safety compliance
    • Conduct Job Safety Analysis
    • Bilingual Communication – written and verbal – in English and Spanish as needed to perform all duties

    The Skills and Experience You Bring to The Role:

    • 4-8 years of successful Health and Safety program facilitation in a manufacturing setting
    • A collaborative approach in which others enjoy their partnership with you and live the values and examples you set, not solely to be compliant, but because they truly believe and support the vision set forth by the Health and Safety team
    • Identify, communicate and quickly resolve problems both before and as they occur. Set continuous improvement plan in place to ensure problems do not reoccur.
    • Exhibit influence on those that fail to meet the standards set by the Health and Safety team by explaining the value, consequences and business impact of non-compliance
    • Bachelors' Degree preferred
    • Bilingual skills – English/Spanish are required for this role
