    Description
    The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM), St. Louis, MO seeks applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Medicine.


    WUSM home to a nationally recognized clinical infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship program, healthcare epidemiology research program, and infectious diseases fellowship.

    WUSM has been continuously funded for healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship research since 1997 through the CDC Prevention Epicenters, and multiple faculty are national and international leaders in the field.

    WUSM also has a strong training and mentorship program for trainees and junior faculty interested in healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship.

    The successful applicant should have specific interest and/or experience in infection prevention, healthcare epidemiology and/or antimicrobial stewardship. The applicant will work in collaboration with a dynamic team group of clinicians and investigators. Applicants should be BC/BE in Infectious Diseases and be eligible for a medical license in Missouri. Additional qualifications in clinical research or epidemiology would be an asset.
