We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Physician or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our esteemed Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
The chosen candidate will work collaboratively with our experienced Medical Director to provide exceptional care and support to elderly patients facing various mental health challenges.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of geriatric patients presenting with behavioral health concerns.Monitor and oversee the implementation of treatment plans, adjusting as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to enhance the overall mental well-being of elderly individuals in our care.
Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to promote a holistic approach to patient care.
Work in tandem with the experienced Medical Director to ensure the highest standards of medical care and adherence to all relevant regulations and policies.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in geriatric behavioral health.Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Psychiatry or Geriatric Psychiatry (if applicable) is preferred.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Hampshire.
Proven experience in geriatric behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Empathy and understanding towards the unique mental health challenges faced by the elderly population.
Full-time Hospital-Employed position with very generous PTO
