    Description

    Responsibilities:
    Perform routine maintenance tasks, including hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs.
    Monitor data center infrastructure to identify and resolve issues proactively.
    Respond to alerts and tickets related to data center equipment failures or performance degradation.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
    Manage inventory of hardware and spare parts, and coordinate procurement as needed.
    Assist in capacity planning and scalability initiatives to support business growth.
    Implement and maintain documentation for data center procedures and configurations.
    Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises.
    Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to data center operations.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    Proven experience in data center operations, including hands-on experience with server hardware, networking equipment, and storage systems.
    Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
    Familiarity with data center management tools and monitoring systems.
    Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
    Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    Ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
    Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP are desirable but not required.
