Job description
Cook Systems has an immediate need for a Product Owner Infrastructure (must work 3 days onsite).
Responsible for facilitating the strategic vision and direction of products, with a strong emphasis on leveraging cloud technologies and best practices to support fundraisers.
Supports product vision, strategy, and features based on an understanding of customer and technology needs, the competitive landscape, industry standards, and emerging cloud solutions.
Enables product experiences that solve current and future customer problems, including those related to cloud adoption, migration, and optimization, inspiring customer delight and advocacy.
Facilitates all aspects of products, including working with management and key stakeholders to support the product vision and contributing to a 3-year product roadmap.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supports the strategic direction of a product team. Collaborates with the team to facilitate all aspects of the product platform including health, value delivery, KPIs, and usage.
Responsible for working with management and key stakeholders to contribute to the product vision, 3-year Product roadmap, release plans, and backlog.
Maintains product specific plans, negotiates product feature requirements, ensures product quality, meets information security needs, turns requirements into functional design, and coordinates product software releases and resolution of product defects.
Defines the user stories, requirements and user experience, builds journey maps and wireframes to communicate the direction for their product team.
Supports the teams' User Centered Design efforts. Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet customer needs. Also works to ensure the team delivers user-centered product and platform requirements. Participates in usability tests, shares findings and makes recommendations to group.Responsible for translating customer requirements into product specifications and understanding business applications from a functional and technical perspective.
Helps train internal teams and key stakeholders on product features with an emphasis on how the features translate to business benefits.
Works with stakeholders on training materials and documentation to ensure features translate to business benefits. Works directly with the team to suggest solutions to meet customer needs.Facilitates all of the day-to-day aspects of the product including product and project status, coordination of software product releases, preparation of monthly product and project status reports, demonstration of product capabilities, industry and competitive analysis.
Also works with external contractors and vendors to augment and enhance product platform capabilities.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge - Knowledge of both business and technical disciplines with the ability to view needs from an enterprise perspective and apply cloud computing and/or on-prem principles.
Strong communications skills and experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences, translating between business requests and technical needs. Ability to facilitate scope, design, and requirements discussions, including those involving cloud architecture and deployment.
Experience effectively collaborating with a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with priorities.
Strong understanding of current technology offerings, including cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and the ability to stay current with emerging trends.
Has a strong understanding of testing methodologies and user acceptance techniques and their ability to enhance products.Must be results-driven with a proven record of completing work in a fast-paced environment.
Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio, etc.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Product Development, or a related field and 3-5 years of information technology experience.
Agile Product Owner certification, or equivalent preferred.

A technical Product Owner who understands cloud and on prem roles for infrastructure teams would be ideal
