Job DescriptionI'm building a long-term animated IP centered around two original characters . I'm running a paid trial to compare AI-assisted animation vs. traditional animation, side by side.
This role is specifically for AI-assisted animation, with a strong emphasis on character expression, comedic timing, and emotional acting.
This is not a multi-scene project.
Important:
Project Structure
One single scene only
Always set inside the same environment
No scene changes, no location hopping
People will watch because:
The characters are expressive
The timing is funny
The emotion lands
This is performance-driven animation, not cinematic scene building.
Scope of the Paid Trial
Phase 1 — Visual Refinement (Required Before Animation)
I already have:
The characters , The scene , The overall visual direction
However, small but critical refinements are required before animation begins:
Minor adjustments to character proportions
Minor refinements to texture and color
Refinement of the background environment (abstract, stylized, consistent)
You must be able to execute precise visual tweaks without changing the overall style.
This refinement phase is part of the paid trial.
Phase 2 — Animation Test
Create a ~60-second animated clip
Single camera setup
No scene cuts
Characters must feel:
Expressive
Alive
Comedic
Emotionally readable
Micro-movements matter:
Eyes
Head tilts
Pauses
Reaction timing
This is where the evaluation happens.
Who This Is For
You are a good fit if you:
Have real experience with AI-assisted animation workflows
Understand character consistency (no visual drift)
Think like an animator, not just a prompt engineer
Have a strong sense of comedic timing and acting
Can keep characters on-model over time
Enjoy character-driven content more than visual spectacle
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
