    Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience.

    They are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy challenging projects, working with other engineers in a team environment, and interfacing directly with clients.

    Responsibilities
    Self-sufficient engineer capable of landing, executing, and delivering projects with minimal oversight from executive and administrative staff
    Operate as point of contact for major projects and delegate work to other team members as needed.
    Exercises judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and code provisions.
    Utilize various engineering related computer software (Ram SS, Risa, Adapt, etc.)
    Prepare engineering documents, details, schedules, and reports as assigned.
    Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommend necessary changes.
    Research code issues and coordinate with City, State, and County requirements regarding local code requirements and design criteria.
    Explore alternative designs that expand upon established principals of structural engineering.
    Conduct field work/surveys. Coordinate project needs and the scope of work with clients in the field.
    Attend project meetings and collaborate with clients on projects.

    Qualifications


    • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis)
    • 8+ years of experience
    • Experience with RAM, Risa, Adapt, Enercalc and Revit is also a plus
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
