    Job Summary:

    The Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility in Buffalo, NY. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to residents and their families.

    Duties:

    • Advise and Support Residents and Families: Provide guidance and assistance to residents and their loved ones to ensure their needs are met.
    • Monitoring and Medication Administration: Continuously monitor residents' health and administer medication and treatments as required.
    • Care Documentation: Accurately document resident care services in medical records to maintain continuity of care.
    • Infection Control and Safety: Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect residents and staff from harm.
    • Resident Needs Resolution: Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to address resident concerns and needs promptly.
    • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standard of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care.
    • Confidentiality: Preserve resident confidentiality at all times.

    Requirements:

    • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver excellent care and communicate resident information accurately.
    • Licensure and Experience: Possess a current New York State RN License and preferably have long-term care experience.
    • Computer Skills and Adaptability: Demonstrate solid computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office, while being adaptable to changing situations.
    • Friendly and Team-Oriented: Display a friendly demeanor and be an effective team player.
