    We have an Amazing Career Opportunity for an Associate Finance Manager

    This position can be remote with preference working in the Tri-State region (NY, NJ, CT).

    We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our Finance Team as our Associate Finance Manager. This role will work with the FP&A Manager to provide support to operational business groups, as assigned, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of operational data/analyses for publication to various constituents throughout company (Management, Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions.Primary responsibilities will include assisting the business team in the monthly business financial review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance.

    As our Associate Finance Manager, you'll support Questex's success by:
    • Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget/forecast, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risks and take advantage of the opportunities
    • Analyze, model and improve cost efficiencies, product pricing, variable contributions, and sales results in conjunction with the operating plan
    • Partner with Businesses and Shared Service teams in determining financial impact due to product terminations, new product roll out, etc. and prepare periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.
    • Validate data, create custom and canned financial reports in the budgeting and dashboard software packages.
    • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets/forecasts.
    • Preparation of annual budget, forecast updates for the business units assigned
    • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
    • Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvements, and as appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
    • Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned and required by the FP&A Manager and senior FP&A leaders

    Your Experience and Education include:
    • 3+ years' experience, with 2+ years in a similar role.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with Limelight (or equivalent), Salesforce, Intacct (or equivalent) and Business Intelligence tools like Phocas, a plus.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, accounting or economics.
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Potentially a Senior Financial Analyst and/or Financial Analyst

    The expected base salary for this position ranges from 75K-85K.Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
