A leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive asset performance, improve maintenance systems, and enhance operational uptime across a complex production facility. This role is responsible for advancing reliability strategies, leading root cause investigations, and strengthening preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure long-term asset sustainability.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, hands-on maintenance collaboration, and formal reliability engineering expertise.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in heavy industrial manufacturing, materials processing, metals, chemicals, or high-temperature production environments.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated application of reliability engineering principles (MTBF, MTTR, statistical analysis, Pareto analysis, reliability modeling).
  • Experience facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and driving corrective actions.
  • Strong analytical skills including data mining, predictive modeling, and maintenance performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Maintenance Connection, or similar systems).
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO management systems.
  • Experience managing or supporting capital improvement projects.
  • Strong team facilitation and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience improving maintenance financial performance and asset lifecycle cost efficiency.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement systems within plant operations.
  • Essential Duties
  • Champion safety and environmental compliance while promoting a culture of operational discipline and continuous improvement.
  • Lead advanced problem-solving initiatives to eliminate recurring equipment failures and improve plant reliability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams (maintenance, operations, engineering) to deliver measurable improvement results.
  • Drive optimization of maintenance processes to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Analyze maintenance and production data to identify trends and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for significant equipment failures and reliability events.
  • Improve breakdown elimination systems and defect handling processes.
  • Support and enhance asset management systems, ensuring data integrity and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings, providing reliability insights, KPI reporting, and corrective action tracking.
  • Promote equipment ownership within production teams, supporting autonomous maintenance and centerline management initiatives.
  • Lead reliability-related capital improvement projects and value-driven initiatives.
  • Partner with internal technical teams and external service providers to improve overall maintenance effectiveness and cost efficiency.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) or equivalent hands-on reliability experience.
