Description
Job Description
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Camber Children's Mental Health offers caring supervision for children and adolescents. As a BHT, you will assist young individuals in reaching their treatment objectives through daily activities, teaching coping mechanisms, and fostering positive behavior skills. Your role involves collaborating with nurses and therapists to support treatment plans, record client progress, and ensure a secure setting.
Pay Rate:
The starting pay for this role is $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for increase based on qualifications and experience, including shift differentials.
Schedule/Hours:
PRN (Pro Re Nata) staff work on an as-needed basis without a fixed schedule. They are expected to complete one scheduled shift per month to maintain employment status.
Education:
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Licensure/Certification:
Must possess a valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
Experience/Requirements:
Eligible candidates for PRN roles must have a minimum of six months tenure in their current position, a positive performance evaluation, and no current performance improvement plans or corrective actions.
