    With over 80% of products locally manufactured, NTN Driveshaft is an integral part of American NTN Bearing. We are currently seeking multiple creative Mechanical Engineers to join our team at the Columbus, IN plant.

    Job Summary


    As a Mechanical Engineer at American NTN Bearing, you will be involved in all stages of product development, from conception through production and installation.

    Your primary focus will be on designing and fabricating high-quality mechanical components that drive innovation and excellence within the industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage the full lifecycle of product development
    Create systems and components that meet specified needs
    Conduct experiments, analyze data, and evaluate designs
    Identify and implement solutions to emerging challenges
    Evaluate product performance and safety
    Modify designs to meet project requirements
    Estimate project budgets and scopes
    Collaborate with operators for feedback
    Prepare product documentation
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

    Required Qualifications

    Recent graduates or individuals with experience in mechanical engineering
    Proficiency in product lifecycle management, finite element analysis, and computational fluid dynamics
    Hands-on experience with engineering and manufacturing software
    Familiarity with 2D and 3D design tools such as AutoCAD and ProE
    Knowledge of engineering analysis tools like ANSYS and ProMechanica
    Strong mathematical and analytical skills
    Solid understanding of engineering concepts
    Clear communication and technical writing abilities
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering
