Data Architect to be part of the growing Enterprise Data team. This person will collaborate with practice stakeholders to translate their data-information-knowledge requirements into data solutions. This role requires demonstrated experiences with data strategy, planning, design, development and support.

Accountable for data strategic planning, architecture, framework, requirements analysis, data modeling, meta data management, data integration design, development best practices, development standards and deployment process.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Align data architecture and function with the practice's strategic goals and objectivesProvide input into and/or create and maintain data technical and functional roadmap, current state to future stateProvide expertise and thought leadership in data architecture, design, development, and operationsBuild and oversee data architecture frameworks to support MDM, reference, and application data solutionsBuild processes to support requirements, business acumen, and partnership with business stakeholdersProvide guidance on healthcare projects to support building efficient processes and deliverables aligned with business strategyEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies, innovations, and service in data managementPartner with data architects and engineers to define solution architectures, frameworks, development standards, and data quality best practicesDesign and specify strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and backupImplement and maintain solutions for data modeling, ETL/API, data analytics, and metadata managementAnalyze and represent practice information needs in data modelsCreate, maintain, and present data architecture diagramsExtend functional data capabilities through design and schema specificationGuide key analysis and process in support of data quality and system performanceMentor and assist analysts, developers, and consumers in their use and adoption of best practices and standardsImplement practices, processes, and technologies to ensure accuracy, validity, consistency, usability and overall quality of the dataPartner with data architects, engineers, and developers to maintain technologies, practices, and standards for configuration, change, and release managementAssist in team design, composition, structure, and budget planningEnable automation and improvements in data operations and support functionsDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering preferred12+ years of relevant experience in a data architecture, management, integration, governance, analytic roles5+ years of technical leadership experience in a data architect roleProficient and current usage of data modeling tools such as ER StudioExperience with data architecture, data lakehouse, and data modeling; within the healthcare sector preferredExperience with creating and maintaining normalized data models for MDM, reference, and application dataExperience designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting MDM solutions; experience with large data warehouses is a plusExperience in healthcare preferred; HL7 and Mirth is a plusStrong understanding of database and data principles, theories, process, and practicesExceptional critical thinking, communication, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated aptitude for learning and assimilating new concepts and technologiesAble to present ideas, concepts, and strategies in a manner consumable by business stakeholdersAbility to effectively align work with stakeholder priorities and execute in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated team-oriented, collaborative behaviors and competenciesExperience with dev/ops, cloud engineering, cloud based database platforms a plusFamiliarity with SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Control-M, GitHub, Power BIExperience in all data and data management roles is a plusExperience with at least one cloud platform, Azure strongly preferred - SQL Server, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Stream, ADLSKnowledge of data privacy practices and laws a plus
