    Description

    Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology and fleet management, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting operational uptime and vehicle performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Fleet Support Engineer

    Location: Miami, FL

    Pay Range: $74 per hour

    What's the Job?

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations related to sensor and fleet issues.
    • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through log review to identify and resolve fleet problems.
    • Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault resolutions.
    • Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras.
    • Design and implement diagnostic procedures to improve troubleshooting efficiency, focusing on sensor calibration and data integrity.

    What's Needed?

    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicle sectors, with a focus on perception systems and sensors.
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
    • Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and troubleshooting safety protocols.
    • Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture supporting operational environments.
    • Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts effectively.
