Job Description:
Parsons' Mission Solutions team is looking to add a sharp IT Technician to provide complex technical support in areas such as research, design, development, testing, and/or installation in support Department of Defense programs in Huntsville, AL

• Great Pay/Benefits and a company that knows its employees are the priority Responsibilities & Essential Functions : • Hardware troubleshooting (Power, Mainboard, CPUs, PCIe, RAM, Local Storage, Network)
• Network protocols, services, and infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP).
• Patch and security management and orchestrations (SCCM, Ansible).
• Programming/scripting in high-level languages (PowerShell).
• Vulnerability and compliance management (Patching, Remediation, Hardening, STIG).
• Windows workstation and/or server operating system administration (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022)

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of electronics training from technical trade school or military technical school or two years of computer training as applicable to the job
• Experience in performing setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of network and computer components
• Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written/verbal descriptions or from defined plans
• Ability to run multiple types of cabling (fiber optic and copper network and electrical) in and between computer racks, above ceilings, under raised floors
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Current Security+ Certification Preferred Qualifications : • BS or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Information Science or related field
• Experience and/or training with installation of electrical cabling
• Experience and/or training with installation of telephone and video systems
• Experience with Windows/Linux Operating systems Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI This position is part of our Federal Solutions team

Salary Range:
