    As Safety Manager you will establish and maintain a safe and healthy working environment and work site for all employees while ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations and Company policies. Will be assigned work in the tri-state area (PA/OH/WV).

    You will:

    • Model and promote good safety practices. Ensure safety is never compromised.
    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with all federal, state and local environmental and occupational safety regulations.
    • Provide technical assistance as needed, including interpretation of OSHA, EPA and industry regulations.
    • Design and implement workplace processes, policies and safety programs that help protect workers by eliminating hazardous conditions and unsafe practices.
    • Investigate all injuries and accidents; conduct root cause analysis and track/identify and address any trends.
    • Effectively manage safety and compliance programs to include worker's compensation; risk management; hazardous waste, recycling and resource recovery; revise as necessary.
    • Prepare, submit and retain daily and weekly safety and compliance reports/documents.
    • Confer with Safety Director, Director of HSE, supervisory personnel employees and contractors to resolve safety-related complaints.
    • Develop and conduct education and training sessions on a variety of safety/compliance topics; conduct safety orientation with new employees.
    • Monitor and conduct workplace testing when needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety Management or related field. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education.
    • Minimum of 3 years of related safety management experience. Experience in the construction or oil & gas industry is preferred.

    • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Possess excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and relevant safety programs.
    • Knowledgeable of federal, state and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, etc.
    • Ability to travel more than 50% to Frontier office and field locations in a personal or company vehicle and work flexible hours and weekends if needed.

    Working Conditions:

    Your time will be split between an office and in field locations. In the field you will work outdoors in all types of weather including dry, wet and humid conditions where temperatures can range from below freezing to 90+ degrees. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Lifting to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.
