Job Summary:
As part of Compass Digital's Healthcare Digital division, the Senior DevOps Engineer will work with the Compass Healthcare business to drive the digital future in healthcare - specifically around Patient, Healthcare Staff, Long-term care, and Hospital Retail experiences.
This role will lead the organizations planning, design and execution of future digital operational strategies on the portfolio of healthcare products to meet long-term enterprise needs.
On this team you will help drive innovation, define and roll out modern DevOps best practices working with Development and System Architecture Leadership to ensure high quality of critical Healthcare products that support the patient care eco system across the country.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of strong technology & digital leadership experience, as well as business experience preferably in the healthcare and foodservices industries.
Responsibilities:
Work with on and offshore resources to manage enterprise application runtime environmentsTake a lead role in managing incidents and problems with runtime environments, including problem detection, root cause analysis and preventionManage infrastructure with Cloud Formation and other IAC technologiesDevelop and manage automated delivery pipelines using ADOManage AWS Cloud services for Healthcare related applicationsWork with Architects to implement the latest runtime technologies and env management strategies and standardsContinuous learning to stay updated with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies and best practicesEnsure that our environments and pipelines alignment with architectural and security policies and standardsComfortable working in a greenfield environment to attempt new challengesWork with architects on POCs of new tools, platforms, and technologies Qualifications:6+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, or related disciplines such as Middleware, System or Software engineeringProficient in understanding and using modern Cloud, DevOps and Microservice technologies and practicesIn depth knowledge of managing AWS Services
