Our client is seeking a Director of Operational Safety Performance & Improvement to play a pivotal role in designing and leading programs to enhance safety culture and drive continual improvement in operational systems for rail passengers and employees.

Design and lead innovative safety programs tailored to evolving operational needs
Provide regular updates on safety performance and improvements to executive leadership
Oversee the implementation of Safety Programs and other initiatives
Take ownership of special projects identified by the Executive team
Foster constructive working relationships with leadership and management
Lead annual safety and environment engagement events

Leadership experience in a rail organization
Degree in Safety or related field
Strong understanding of safety culture and regulatory requirements
Experience in project management and negotiation
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software

PMP certification
Experience with MS Project, Comply 365, Power BI, MS Visio, Coruson, TRMS
