    Position Summary:

    Our Portland office has an opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate to join the firms expanding practice. In this role, you'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including legal research, drafting various legal documents, engaging with clients, attending court conferences, investigations, crafting position statement, and representing clients in litigation matters.

    Additionally, we value candidates interested in gaining experience in Traditional Labor matters which would include collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, representation petitions, and unfair labor practice charges.

    Requirements:
    • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Oregon, or able to be admitted. Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice throughout employment.
    • Candidates should possess at least 3+ years of employment litigation experience.
    • Job requires excellent analytical and writing skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; passion for client service and practice development.
