    Description
    Duties * Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned programs and projects.

    * Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program.

    * Negotiate and integrate all district functions customer requirements, regulatory and environmental requirements, and other agencies commitments in support of assigned programs/projects into a comprehensive PgMP/PMP.

    * Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project.

    * Responsible for the efficient, effective, and timely accomplishment and coordination of the programming, planning, design and construction of projects.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

    * Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 5%.

    * This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

    * Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

    * This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Coordinate the planning, design, and construction, of major projects; and 2) Integrate sponsor/customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

    Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone - no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

    Additional information * Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
