- Prepare and set up the catheterization laboratory for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist the cardiologist and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment, ensuring its proper function and safety.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and communication.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule as needed.
- Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Proficient in operating cath lab equipment and imaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
